But while I love a good apple pie (and have made quite a few in my day), some days I just want the delicious taste of apple goodness without the extra work of a crust. So think of this recipe as just the good parts of a pie – the baked apple slices.

It’s as easy as slicing an apple and sticking it in the oven. If you have an apple slicer/corer, all the better. It’s just that much less work for you. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. Not only does it taste delicious, but your house will smell amazing too!

Step 3: Bake for 30-40 minute, turning slices over about halfway through. When you can easily pierce them with a fork, they are ready to serve.
